Music and Trains Bring People Together

c

“Music and trains bring people together” is a TopRail initiative within the framework of the European Year of Railways 2021. On occasion of the worldwide International Day of Tourism on 27 September, a good three-minute video clip was released in which rail tourism and music have been combined in an attractive way.

Beethoven’s Ode to Joy is played by artists from all over the world, against the backdrop of historic locomotives in Lisbon, travelling through Spain and at Lake Balaton in Hungary, as well as on the brandnew luxury train Shiki-Shima in Japan – inspiring for rail tourism.
