“Railway and Tourism: A Cultural Perspective” – this is the motto of a UIC video conference on 26 october 2021 afternoon. The key issue that will be addressed during this workshop is the landscape as a tourist resource, which is especially relevant for the development of entrepreneurial actions in the railway system and the improvement of the traveler experience. FEDECRAIL president Jaap Nieweg is a speaker with „Sustainable tourism by the use of (heritage) rail, based on the Historic triangle product of the Museumsteamtram Hoorn – Medemblik (SHM)“.
